Our entire careers were built on the notion that the delivery of that last mile of success would depend on people and service, regardless of which technologies were being deployed. And particularly in cybersecurity, the ability to ferret out and defend against advanced and sophisticated attacks would depend on smart and capable people using technology software and tools to overcome the enemy.

We each had broad experience in information security but we needed to map that experience to present day threats. So, we invested heavily in research and testing and ultimately in partnerships with what we considered the very best tools and technologies coming out of the cybersecurity start-up world. Then we constructed a platform in which we integrated those technologies in a way that optimizes their individual strengths and delivers maximum protection against all known and zero-day threats emerging on a daily basis.

 

But we knew that without human analytics and remediation services, our customers would be left with meaningless alerts about which they would have to do something themselves. This is why we focused early on the detection and response puzzle. We believed that no matter how great the technologies became, we would never be able to protect and prevent in a way that would completely thwart increasingly advanced threats.
